The nightmoves awards are given every year in the industry pornographic films nightmoves, a magazine based in oldsmar, florida,[1] which was first published in 1987[8] and originally called sports south.[9] the awards ceremony began in 1993 and was originally called the central florida adult entertainment awards. It is the third oldest continuously running parenting awards show in america after the avn awards and xrco awards. It also marks the start of the porn industry's awards season.[10] in addition to the show's national awards, local awards are also given to sexually oriented businesses and dancers up to tampa bay. There are two awards in a single national category, one chosen by the fans and one chosen by the editors of nightmoves magazine. Online ballot available for approximately three months each year to receive fans' choice awards. The nightmoves awards added a new category called the triple-play award in 2006.[31] also known as anna's plus, the game was created in honor of the late porn actress anna malle.[31] the recipients of the award are recognized for their own achievements in at least 3 different areas of the adult leisure industry,[27] including performance, directing and scenic dance.[31][32] the first recipient of the award was stormy daniels.[31] in 2007, nightmoves added the hall of fame to their ongoing awards ceremony.
